The Camillus Senior Center supports adults in their efforts to remain healthy, active & independent members of the community by providing socially, intellectually, & physically enriching activities for the senior population age 55 & over. The center also serves the senior community by acting as a resource for senior related issues.
Senior activities include fitness classes, line dancing, art lessons, day trips, lecture series, parties and special events and a variety of other activities.
The center is located in the former school at 25 ½ First Street in the Village of Camillus. First Street runs parallel with Main St/West Genesee & is accessed from Leroy St (next to Maxwell Library) or Newport Rd. The center’s entrance (& Catfish) is located on the east side of the building near the large parking lot. The center is owned by the Town of Camillus. Other parts of the building are apartments that are owned by private individuals.
