Welcome to the Town of Camillus!  Founded on March 8, 1799, the Town of Camillus is named after the Roman general Marcus Furius Camillus and is the only Town in the United States to bear that name.  Home to the Erie Canal, historic railways, and political leadership, the Town of Camillus is rich in history! 

The Town of Camillus occupies 35 square miles of land, which includes Fairmount, Amboy-Belle Isle, Warners, and the Village of Camillus and is currently home to 25,346 residents.  We invite you to explore this website and learn about our local government and all our community has to offer!

Hometown Heroes Program
Important News
The Town of Camillus is pleased to announce the Hometown Heroes banner program.  Residents can honor their military loved one with a tribute banner that will be affixed to light posts on West Genesee Street.

Each banner is 30" x 60" and features a double-sided image with details about the individual's military service.  The banners will be used for 2 seasons, after which they will be given to the individual who sponsored it.

Banner cost is $150 and can be ordered using the link below.  

If you would like to come to the Municipal Building to either get a Hometown Hero Banner application or additional information, or if you would like to drop off an application, photo, or check, please call Deanna Smith at (315) 488-1335 x311 to schedule an appointment.
